I was recently featured in an article by David Nicklaus on STL Today, about how I landed in prison for making “gray choices”, and how my story is a cautionary tale about the slippery slope of unethical decision-making.
I hope that my story serves as a reminder that even small compromises in ethical decision-making can have significant consequences down the road. As I told Nicklaus: “It’s a long road to redemption,” Hayes said. “My hope is that somebody reads this book and can avoid experiencing what I have gone through.”
